Surr's Makeover Day

Draenei hunter Surr in Merciless Gladiator's Pursuit

I was getting a bit embarrased by my second 85 hunter's fashion sense, so I spent the day gathering Merciless Gladiator's Pursuit for her; a set that looks particularly good on female draenei. It's a recolour of Rift Stalker Armor, which looks even better, but is more effort. It took a bit longer than I had planned; I first converted 3750 Justice Points over to 2500 Honor Points. Traveled to Area 52. Realised I didn't have enough Honor Points anyway, so did a couple of battlegrounds (actually went pretty well despite she not having any PVP-gear). Bought the pieces I wanted. Traveled to Isle of Quel'Danas. Found out that the matching belt and boots cost Justice Points, not Honor Points. Of course now I didn't have any Justice Points left, so I did two dungeons to get enough, and then bought the two last pieces.

Merciless Gladiator's Chain Armor 1000 Honor Points - Kezzik the Striker - Area 52
Merciless Gladiator's Chain Spaulders 750 Honor Points - Kezzik the Striker - Area 52
Merciless Gladiator's Chain Leggings 1000 Honor Points - Kezzik the Striker - Area 52
Merciless Gladiator's Chain Gauntlets 750 Honor Points - Kezzik the Striker - Area 52
Veteran's Chain Girdle 208 Justice Points - Kayri - Isle of Quel'Danas
Veteran's Chain Sabatons 208 Justice Points - Kayri - Isle of Quel'Danas
(Merciless Gladiator's Chain Helm 1000 Honor Points Kezzik the Striker - Area 52)

I went with a greatlooking bow that I think matches fairly well, and which was handy enough to already be in my bank.

Ironfeather Longbow from the quest chain in the Dragon Soul dungeons.

Other hunters that use Merciless Gladiator set for transmog are PVPGurl-Gigi and Hunter DPS-Kheldul, while Drunken Dwarf-Guntitan uses the blue version.

As farming goes, this set is easier than a lot of others. But again not an earthquakingly innovative and creative set, I leave those to the true fashion hunters. :) Like for example in this article over at WoW Insider, where they mention color palettes and what-not. About the article, I find it silly that the best ranger looks are from leather gear, and I hope leather gear will be available for transmogging for us hunters eventually.
